Default power antenna/stereo blowing fuses problem!!!

Hi there everyone... I am new to the forums, as well as being a new owner of a Lexus SC400 (1992)

I have only had the car about a month now... it came with a couple minor problems, which all have been fixed (door hinge, a/c line broken) but 2 weeks ago something else happened and I have NO CLUE how to work around it or fix it yet, so thought I would ask here and see if any of you have some thoughts.

The power antenna was not going up/down... well, now and again it would, but the stereo still worked fine... until one day the antenna started going down and then stopped half way and the fuse for the stereo blew.

I went to replace the fuse and the new one instantly blew too. Now, I pulled the panel in the truck to get at the power antenna and the first thing I tried was disconnecting the power to it... no luck, fuses still blow... but... there is this blue box attached to the antenna that has a wiring harness attached to it... if I disconnect that, the fuse will not blow, but I have NO stereo at all... as soon as I plug it in... boom, no fuse.

I want my music back LMAO... I do not need the antenna to go up and down, and that is something I can deal with... but I have no clue about this box or how to bypass it and get my stereo back.

If anyone can help, I would truly appreciate it!

Thanks in advance,

NorthWizard.
