Default Where does your temp guage usually sit?

I just had my timing belt, water pump, and all the pulleys replaced. Today, first day driving I noticed the temp guage shoot up. So I topped off the radiator, looked like the guy didn't let the car warm when he refilled the rediator.

Now, even filled back to the max the car when warmed up and at a stop the temp guage sits at about 3/4 from the bottom.
Before this repair it sat about 1/3 from bottom, a little below half way.

Anything I should check or watch out for?

LITERALLY a hair below the half mark. Sometimes it'll hit the half point. But rare.

Mine sits right below half way and never goes higher. Just keep refilling the coolant. You have to refill, let it idle a little, wait, then refill again. Keep doing that until it's full. Make sure you don't have a leak at the drain plug.

jack car up in front Crank car (cold) and turn on heat to HIGH and Highest Temp - Rev to 3-4k rpms hold while filling (helps to have the Rad cap Filler funnel)- prob didn't Burp fluid correct so you have a bubble which is why it Shot up and prob when back down.

most OEM temp gauges are basically like an on/off switch for the most part - its not telling you the exact temp but it knows when its too hot,too cold or in between.thats about it.
Shouldn't worry but you need to Bleed the system

mines sits 3/4 of the way up, why? well b/c when i sent my cluster to get it done by Lextech, so i guess once you take off the temp needle it will sit higher when it's really just at normal temp. how do i know that? well i have a autometer water temp gauge before i sent the cluster off and at normal engine temp it's usually at 180-190 degrees F. so i know it's not over heating.

Mine is digital but it always sits half way once it's warmed up.

Any other digital gauge people here so I can confirm that it's normal lol?
