I wouldn't bother. Carbon has bigger gaps and doesn't fit well. What's the reason for you to do this? Show or go? Won't affect anything for the second.

I'd stick with the stock. IMO OEM is looks better.

if you want to shave some weight, replace the stock seats, go with an aluminum exhaust, and possibly a carbon hood (painted), remove all sound dampening material from under carpet, replace stock gas tank with aluminum fuel cell, remove spare and all factory tools from trunk...the trunk doesnt weigh enough to make any difference..if your going for looks, better be a very very high quality carbon trunk to assure alignment/fitment..

I think carbon trunk is a good idea. Stock trunk does weigh a good amount, and carbon unit is definitely a good weight savings.

Doors weight more, and hood is best weight savings besides stock SC seats, but trunk is still a decent lb. savings.

carbon trunk doesn't have much of a weight difference with OEM. I can carry the OEM on my own with no problem. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have done a CF trunk. With that said, my fitment was fine, no unusually large gaps or uneven gaps, only the slight fading at the edges from long exposure in the sun.
