has anyone here use these i see these on ebay for like 115.00 are they any good

 

i have one on my sc300..so far so good. it feels a bit stiffer than stock and the release point is alot lower hope that helps.

 

A clutch kit is an area I will never skimp on. There are lower clamping kits offered by companies like ACT that are much better than the Ebay specials.

i read a lot of good reviews about the clutch. I haven't tried one.

 

Mine has held up to several thousand miles of boosted abuse. I bought a cheap clutch because I'd rather it break than the W-58.

 

I got the F1 Stage 3, I hate it! It makes noise, it slips, its garbage.
Spend the extra money and get a Centerforce or something legit.
Im not looking forward to replacing my clutch, but I cant stand listening to it squeak anymore.

 

Bummer. I got the stage 3, 6 puck, sprung hub and after a proper break in, no slippage, no noise. It took some getting used to - as all puck clutches do, but I'm very pleased.

Did you break it in? What power are you putting down? Did you resurface your flywheel?

 

I would Never put one on my car's . If anything I would go with something better known Like ACT, Spec, RPS, Clutchmanster.


A dumbAss I know put one on his miata and well this Stupid **** would beat the FN **** out of his HOMO looking car every day. Lasted about 1 1/5 yr.

 

What he said, not fun to pull the tranny out to replace a cheap clutch.

 

a few honda guys here have em and have mixed reviews. I wouldn't skimp on a clutch setup, if you want to hold and last long get a name brand. I bought a centerforce for my swap setup, can't say much cuz i haven't been able to drive it

 

im in the same boat as you im about to order my swap lookin for a simple clutch

 

Id go with ACT. Good name, probably higher percentage of good reviews.

 

Ya I say go with something better. My centerforce has lasted me three years and counting!

 

i had a stage 1 about 3 years ago. held great, feels abit stronger then stock. i beat the hell out of it with many burnouts and clutch kicks- drifting is my drug. wasnt till last month it started slipping and i replaced it myself with a f1 stage 2, im sure it would of lasted longer if i resurfaced my flywheel at the time but money was an issue. im still breaking in the new clutch, so far it feels great, wouldnt recommend it for daily stop n go traffic but the price is easy on the wallet.
