Default Your take on Black interior?

It's nice, but it gets ridiculously baked in the sun during the day. What do you think?

I think the best option is either to do black on top (replacing the brown parts), and keeping the rest light tan. Because I chose to make the whole interior black, I just decided to get my front seats in cloth/suede so it's much less hot than leather.

Not a problem in most parts, especially here. The AC does just fine. Wish I had a black interior..

To me black just seems more appealing, especially if your leather isn't worn. Night and day difference when your sitting inside an all black vs tan or grey

I love my black interior and the dark tint really really helps during the summer.

my first SC had tan interior i didn't mind it at all, now my last two have had black interiors, and there is no way i'd ever get another tan interior SC, black all the way.

Just by looking at pics, I knew black interior was a must.

Sure sucks with the sun owning it though but I'll get a retint and give it some love and its all good

I love the black interior and the two-tone interior. Plain old tan makes the car feel sort of outdated on the inside. I plan on dying/painting the interior sometime this summer once I figure out how to take apart the dash. My SC doesn't get driven that often so heat isn't too big of an issue and I've dark tint, so that helps a lot. I might tint the windshield since that is where all of the heat comes from.

I agree, two tone it. Most people just do it all, I chose to follow the yellow brick road layout by Scotturnot. I much happier now and I always use a sunshade on front windshield and crack the windows a little. Its not too terrible with black seats now.

Black is really nice, but an unblemished, clean tan interior can look really nice as well. It seems that everyone want to go black nowadays.

I too like black, but only as a trim though, for my SC300 as least. My exterior is pearl white so all black interior would be a bit much.

I just used Black Satin SEM on my center console, steering wheel & cover, all the wood grain, parking brake & cover. Looks awesome!

I will post pics this week of total before & after which includes seats as well.
