So I've been researching coilovers a lot, and really wanted the Tein CST to begin with. I really wanted a drop (not slammed) and a really comfortable ride. But after having done the research there arent that many favorable reviews for these, a lot to do with they dont drop as much as ppl would like them too (seems like I'd have to agree with that).
So my question is, next to the Tein CS what is the second most comfortable coilover out there? From what I've read it seems to be the TT suspension? Anything adjustable out there that is like the CS's but PERHAPS drops a bit more?

 

Look into BC Racing coilovers with their softer spring rates. They are reasonably priced at around 900-1000 shipped brand new. I'd take them over Tein CST coilovers any day. Tein built their name through marketing and being made in Japan (prior ones), they were only decent at best. With the price increase the past 2 years, they've became overpriced. There I said it

Stance seem too race oriented for me. The BC BR's sound good. You guys recommend these for a cmfortable DD and weekend track car?

You could use the gixxer_drew setup and choose the springs to your liking.

 

You need to decide what you want to do for your coilovers FIRST > Are you looking for a more street/comfort biased setup or a more track biased setup?

With a heavy car like the SC300/400 the springs are going to make a big difference in handling on the track and/or comfort on the street.

Low and comfortable are not combined most cases. Tien CS give an AMAZING ride feel i have stance cause i wanted to go lower then mt CS's but the stance are stiffer which i don't mind.

 

I'm looking for a mostly comfortable car, but one that I can take to the track on the weekend. But do want the lowered look. Doesnt have to be spungy, I dont mind a stiff-ISH sporty feel to the ride, I just dont want to feel all the cracks and paint on the road.

As I mentioned above, seems like the BC BR's are what I'm looking for. But because I've never felt how they ride, can someone give a description? Am I gonna feel all the little imperfections in the road? At the same time, are they trackable?

 

I'd like to hear more from BC owners as well if possible. Custom spring setups tailored toward daily driving sounds amazingly awesome.
