That looks sick man! I've been talking with my guys at the local car audio shop on how to put 4 10"s in an SC. This is the first time I've seen it done. How does it does it sound and is it crazy loud?

Yea, it's pretty loud. Open the Trunk and you can hear it for a few blocks. The roof flexes about 2in and the trunk moves ALOT. I have a Yellow Top, and a Car Audio battery in the trunk and It still makes the lights dim when it hits. Monday or Tuesday it will have the 145 amp alternator done, hopefully that will fix any electrical problems. I also still need to take the plate out from behind the rear seats.

I have about 3.5 Cubic feet of total box space. There's a kenwood hidden in the right side and the car audio battery is on the left. Oh yea, and The amps lift up to give me access to the spare.

Whoa, sick setup!

Any estimate of how much a setup like that ran you?

That is crazy! That sheet of metal behind the back seats is a real pain to get out. I took mine out last Sunday night and it was a nightmare, but my system sounds so much better. Did you do the install yourself and how much did the entire setup cost?

Thats a nice setup, you cant wrong with JL...Period. Thanks for sharing, but I dont know if I would have taking pictures of it and posted on here some like a million people can see your trunk insides. I would be afraid of theft.

Taking the back seat metal plate out, make a big difference in the sound? I have always wondered that, just never thought I would do it, cause I have people ride with me. I didnt want them to fall backwards or cut into the gas tank. How much clearance is back there form the gas tank? or behind the piece of metal?

The whole system? I have about 5k worth of parts and labor into the car audio wise. If you just wanted the sub setup done it would cost about 2k for the parts and however much for the parts and labor to fiberglass a custom enclosure an run the wires. The only parts I had to buy was 1 500/1, lights, Battery, and misclaneous crap. I had the 4 subs and the amp chillin' in my garage. They charged me 1800 for the work +1 JL 500/1 and the custom box and amp rack install.

Btw if you are in South Texas take your stuff to Custom Sounds. They do top notch HQ work.

On the metal plate behind the seats: if taking out the factory sub made as huge a difference as it did then taking out the plate which is easily 4x the size should help alot. The seats should have enough support. I doubt it would cave in.

As for people stealing ****? I have a really expensive security system called an expert marksman badge.
