Default Turbo Compressor Chipping?

Hello,

I have a Bullseye s366 and I took off the intake today to get to something and found this.

I apologize for the blurry picture, but it seems as if the white part is flaking off and it is taking the surface of the wheel with it.

Should I be concerned and talking to bullseye right now?

Here is what the wheel looked like before it was put in the car

As you can see, there is a white marker there. I just assumed that it was part of the balancing process. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

I apologize for the quality. Camera is kinda dumb. Here are a couple more pics which are, hopefully, more helpful.

I'm specifically talking about the white marked area. It is as if "paint" was chipping off the wheel to the bare metal. It is not discoloration since I can feel a definite unevenness between where the "paint" chipped and the rest of the wheel.

I'm specifically worried about some things.

1) will it affect the ability of this turbo to flow air.

2) will it affect its balance and wobble at high psi (wastegate pressure atm ~10 psi)

3) How much will it cost to repair it if needed? Should I get a new unit? New platform?

My camera sucks so, this is probably as good as it gets in quality.

Thanks!

Disregard. Contacted manufacturer and they say its normal, caused by air speed goin over the wheel.

is that a twin scroll, 60 trim? sweet BW.

1) if its just cosmetic, probably not..

2) no, shaftplay would affect that..

3) if you havent installed/run it already, see if they'll swap it out for another one. if not, dosen't look like it'll be a problem anyways (as long as there's no corrosion either).
