i did the tach fix. but my tach needle is very low on the gauge. like about 200 rpms and i know its idling higher than that. maybe i need a better wire to be soldered back on the cluster... i have a 92 with the r109 resistor by the way.
anyone else have a lazy tach readout after this modification?
i think i'll have it redone. i still need like 2 or 3 needles anyway. can't see my MPH and the gas gauge flickers
did redoing fix your issue? i have the same issue rite now and i used solder instead of a wire, maybe ill redo it with a wire,
Please let me know what fixed your issue
So...here I go
Have 94 SC300 with 1jz swap
same problem tach does not work,
I saw the video, but I dont have r109 in that place, I have it elsewhere,
Also did not find R2 resistor.
Any ideas?

whoa! blast from the past! i had to get another cluster. my speedo was dead.
Any more results on this cluster issue? I used R109 for mine and it works great. For the speedo, I used the MC from DM on the side of the R154, and for the temp, I had to gorund both sides of wire in the passenger kick panel. Only problem I have now, is the blue LED needle from Lextech on the MPH is crapped out on me.
