Default lower control arm bushing

having a hard time putting in my new bushing for my control arm.

I already burned it out and got the sleeve and shell out but there seem to be another thin layer of rubber on it that is preventing the new bushing to go in.

I also put the bushing in the freezer overnight and it did not shrink at all. Should I put it in the refrigerator?

never mind. There was a thin layer of rubber left. It took awhile for it to actually start burning.

Now gotta figure out how to put the control arm back. Kinda hard to do by myself, but it will get done

The process can take a while to do it by yourself because it seems you have to get everything lined up just right, but you'll get it there (if you haven't already). Just look forward to the better handling and that should motivation enough to continue.
