Found this the other day on youtube and thought I'd share it.

Too bad the Soarer is open differential with an auto, I think it would have fared better otherwise.

I don't get all the useless swerving while testing it out...at all. Good race none the less, it shows how hurtful the open differential is to the SC/soarer.

20b is a very powerful engine, largest rotary put into a production vehicle im 99% sure. I'm actually surprised the sc kept up. Doesn't help that both were auto.

The Soarer did have an available 4.08 torsen..I almost bought one but decided to go with the 3.76torsen instead.

I saw a clean Cosmo at a local shop one day.

Thanks for the vid

all he's saying for about 80% of the video is complaining about the body roll (showed by his 10 minute long swerving), which is his only complaint. He loves how quiet, yet fast it is, and keeps comparing it to the celsior, calling it the 2-door coupe version of the celsior.

It might just be how my American mind interprets the phonemes the Japanese languages uses, but they always sound confused, regardless of what they're saying. Just me?
