how can i fix my rough idle?
long story short i was changing my valve cover gaskets and i accidentally broke the tube that sticks out of the valve cover on the intake side. i noticed that there is a little spring and possibly a valve in there.
i just ran the vacuum line straight from the valve cover to the throttle body with out the elbow or spring in . and now my sc idles rough
is it safe to drive the car without that valve functioning properly?
