The foglights are OEM Koitos from the dealership, so you get an idea of how the color varies...

Coloration is nice...but the light output (from the driver's perspective) seems just a little bit better than stock...are you still searching for your HID upgrade/conversion?

I don't know why the pics look all weird like that. I took about 40 pics and only about 10 came out. I'm debating over whether or not I still want to undergo the 3-series HIDs. As of now, it's still very hard for me to open up the headlight housing, let alone figure out how to align the three mounting screws. The BMW optics are 4-inches deep and a little slimmer in diameter. If anyone can gimme a good formula for opening these healights up without melting it all to ****, or without having to pry open the jaws of life with an 18-inch flat-head that'd help out a lot.

Dunno, they come apart easy for me, are you using a Betty Crocker oven or something?

Lex Luthor, what's your trick? Last time I tried a preheated oven on 250-degrees and 20 minutes in the oven with the heat filaments off. The glue was malleable, but still very, very strong. I chewed up the plastic prying it apart with a butterknife.

I think the real trick is just working a dull flat head screwdriver around the bottom...reheating (I went with only 175degrees) .... then working the top and sides by sliding the flathead along the clear/white plastic and scraping the sealant up.... reheating and then start to work the lens off... I got the lens off cleanly in about 2 hours.....spent the extra time to remove ALL of the old caulk before reassembly

True, the glue does start to stiffen up shortly after you take it out of the oven, but even, steady pressure from the center area and a butter knife for the corners should get it off very cleanly for you.
