Alldata.com = bunk?
I just registered with alldatadiy.com yesterday and have found the information underwhelming so far. I found a few useful diagrams, but nothing like I was expecting.
If I want an in-depth manual should I just go with the factory service/repair manual? I'm looking for something with clear diagrams, instructions, etc.

ive got all data for a 95 sc300 = pretty damn useless... now i will say i had a 97 prelude with alldata...and no crap ill quote zhillz "it was the best thing since sliced bread"...any problems with my prelude i jumped on alldata and within an hour i always figured it out, and had it repaired or parts on order....
It sucks pretty bad for my car...'93 SC400...I think I'm going to bite the bullet and get one from Lexus...I figure if I keep dropping $20 here and there for ****, it'll add up pretty quickly.
I don't think there are different levels to alldata...and I'm sure for other cars it's extensive...but pretty scarce for mine.

all-data is alright. You can find the toyota tech repair manual online if you look hard enough. I found one for a 95 supra, has all diagrams for both 2jz-ge and 2jz-gte. Its ridiculously usefull, and just enough details to tear down the engine if needed.

sometimes it pays off to work in a shop..
