Exclamation HELP head gasket

Sorry i don't post on here much, I hope I don't get booed if this an over post or if I listed this in the wrong spot.

So my head gaskets going out! The local Lexus dealer wants to charge me 300 bucks for the gasket set is there a cheaper place to buy one maybe online? Or after market one. Will a 98+ supra gasket fit my 2jzGE? Should I get a Turbo gasket as an upgrade? Is there a preferred upgrade gasket brand? I might go turbo eventually down the road but right now it's my DD.

Another question:
Whats the part number for my head gasket???
The guy on the phone at Lexus didn't seem to know much about anything, I thought I gave him enough info about the car. I really don't want to buy from them it already sound like bad news and a headache. I want to talk to someone that knows more than me about my car... Help!

At any rate:
I have a 1998 Lexus SC300 2jz-GE VVTI, I believe there is a difference between 1998-2000 and 1997-previous engine models.

I would appreciate and help or direction in the matter.

btw where does everyone get their parts from? Any good websites or catalogs or companies people recommend specializing in these cars/motors??

THANKS!
Cris

I think your original post is overwhelming and hard to give you a quick answer.
So my answer is... yes.

The GTE gasket will only be good if you are going to be boosting soon, if not then don't get it. The VVT-i and non VVT-i you should do a search online for if it will work or not. You can call Toyota for the gasket kit and they tend to be cheaper then Lexus (even if the part numbers are the same) Do some HW on this and you will find your answers and even find some cheap oem places online.
