After my computer blown a capacitor i got another ecu its was a jdm 2jzge auto ecu. So the car started up and i runs but its giving me a fault code 31 and its running really rich and i can't figure out what its is Ive change maf sensors and its still the same thing. I never did that before the computer went out. that's the only code its giving me. when i hit the gas it sputters and a lot of rich black smoke is coming out. could someone please help me with this. I'm new to Toyota everything and i found out it can be tricky.

 

i have a sc400 with the same problem. my cel comes and goes but it reads 31 and 24. my car runs really rich and ive replaced my maf and iac but still same problem. i used to have an idle looping and stalling problem but after cleaning and spraying the bearings with wd40 i don't have the idle problem anymore but i still have the code and car runs very rich. the car gives a lot of fuel smell.
