sc400 HELP!

sc400 HELP!
The problem i am having is; The car runs very rich, exhaust stinks when i drive, acceleration is low, (meaning, i need to stomp on the gas pedal in order to go pass....35 plus mph?). So far, i have bought new spark plugs, spark plug wires, and a air mass flow sensor, and recently, a refurbished ECU. But i took it for a drive, and the car had little or no improvements in the acceleration. and i think it has a hole in the exhaust, because its sounds loud and broken lol. The car has been sitting for a while, and we gutted out the catalytic converters. Any possible solutions to make to make this car run????? please help!

Gutted cats could be causing the fuel smell. A faulty o2 senson could be causing it to run rich.
As for the lack of acceleration- When you gutted the cat, are you sure you got everything? It's possible your cat is blocked in some way by either not getting all the material inside or possibly by some other break in your exhaust.
Since you changed the MAF, I'm assuming the rest of your intake (air filter, airbox, etc) is in good shape and not blocked.
I'd check out the exhaust first.
