I nodded off at the wheel today and jumped my sc4!


Ok so here is what happened. Was drivin down SR50 from Orlando at 60-65mph and nodded off (I get up at 3am everyday) then woke up to a culvert/driveway going through the ditch with concrete "ramps" on each side and I slide the car a little sideways took out a huge!! mailbox, got the car airborn, landed sideways almost halfway across the road, bounced up on the pass side wheels and slide all the way across and hit a enbankment on the other side at about 40 mph and that spun me around facing the opposite direction. No injuries at all, just a little upset as my baby is undriveable and its gonna cost me a just a few pretty pennies to fix it.

I will take some more pics once I get it in the air and check out ALL the damage

I work nights primarily and days at my office. I'm so zoned out most days. I have to remember to focus . gl getting fixed.

 

Wow man that crash sounded epic. Glad to see your still alive. The SC looks a little roughed up though.

 

You sure you want to put money into fixing that? Looks kinda banged up...

glad to hear ur ok tho man. looks like u was touched by a angel after hearing how this crash went. but to fix that looks like some what near impossible.

 

i have a 92 lexus shell it has a front damage but i can sell you the shell it pretty much has everything you need to fix you car! no interior!!!

lol, ya Im great peeps. Welli got it up in the air, and OMG!!! an angel doesnt do it justice, more like god himself. only damage is a pinched Powersteering hose that is leeking, the been R/R lower control arm, and the front bumper and fender, and passenger door. That is the only damage, from this crazzzzy wreck. Thing is its my only car at the moment cause im a student. and no job so plans are to fix the control arm, pinched hose and drive it without a fender for a while til I finish school in May. Then Im gonna get my dream Cobra and turn this into a track car. but if anyone has a R/R lower control arm Id love to buy it from you if the price is right.

 

Oh man, sorry to hear. Insurance didn't cover it? Seems like you can get a decent rental and have it in the shop till it's fixed.

 

no, i dont have collision, just liability. And I just pulled the fender off and BAD NEWS, the mailbox pole i hit smashed the door backwards and bent part the panel by the door so bad that i might not be able to knock it back into place.
