help locating the camshaft position sensor

Default help locating the camshaft position sensor

i got a 93 sc400
and the check engine light is on
and it says the sensor is out
but i have no idea where it is
can anyone help me

Go to advanced search, select sc300/400, type in "where is cam position sensor"

BINGO...39 threads pop up! happy reading

Can get you a picture if you like, There is one at the front of each camshaft, Front lower side of sprocket. Its in a aluminum bracket that is held by 2 bolts. You will have to pull the Dizzy caps and rotors to get it off.
