Front windshield tinting is dangerous, especially while driving at night. How can you SEE the road?

I heard that if you stick with 35% tint or lighter and have HID's, it's not bad. If you put limo or 15% tint on your windshield, you may as well put a blanket over your head while you drive since it'd be super dark.

pretty much.
i had a 5% sun strip with the rest of the windshield at 35%(rest of car is 5%), honestly i loved it. i wear prescription glasses so i can't wear sunglasses and bright sun/glare bothers my eyes.
in day time it was great. visibility was perfect, at night with the use of a 5000k HID kit in TSX projectors was like looking at the road with vaguely brighter halogens/stock reflectors. oncoming traffic head light glare wasn't harsh at all.
though the tint only lasted a week cause driving on a military base with the windsheild fully tinted is a no no, yet 5% is ok?
w/e.. lol
