Boosted SC's exhaust.
anyone thought of using one of these? only problem is both inlet pipes are 3" which is perfect for the exhaust but alot larger than the wastegate. you could use a reducer I guess but im not sure how it will flow. thoughts? the other side can be 4" which I like the concept of running to dual 3" pipes. cant be any restrictions there right?

FWIW, my car is in the referenced thread above. I've reposted the pics and text below.
Unfortunately, it was very expensive to re-route the WG back into the 4" DP/MP because fitment is very tight. It was only possible because the WG is buried under the exhaust manifold and the DP is positioned up high almost against the heat shield.
Additionally, it's a challenge from a flow standpoint to keep the exhaust from getting too perturbed. The original 3" setup had more room but didn't flow as well because of the smaller diameter piping.

... I also had the WG recirculated so the car didn't sound like a truck under boost.
Here are some pics of that work. Notice the angle of the WG piping back into the midpipe. That's to keep the turbulance low when recirculating the bypassed exhaust into the main exhaust.
Here's the blending of the WG output into the 4" MP:
My main concern about opening the exhaust was boost creep; fortunately, it wasn't a problem. I'm using an HKS GT wastegate, and it is plenty big as you can see in this picture of the flexed section on the output of the wg.

yeah, thats why I posted that Y-pipe because both the inlets are 3" and the outlet is 4" so theres all that extra room for the wastegate side to flow. 4" midpipe to 3" duals is likely what Im going to do. My downpipe is 3".
Im thinking about leaving the downpipe in the stock location and put the Y in the midpipe flat under the car and run a pipe up to the wastegate. Basically make only a custom midpipe so you can run whatever DP and catback you want.
