I've bought a 1JZ-GTE with R154 from JHOT. It will be here four weeks from now. I live in North Carolina and was wanting to find out if there are any members here close to Jacksonville who could possibly help with my swap. I've got four weeks so really no rush, but in the mean time trying to get parts together and do research on swap threads. Thanks in advance for replies.

As far as parts, im getting the front and rear main seal replaced and all the gaskets including the oil pan gasket. Jhot recommended me to change out the valve stems also so im considering it. How many miles did you buy it with?

You have no idea. I have $2000 left to play with but this local shop wants to charge me $1800 for the swap, 5 speed conversion, and gauges my only worry is it being half *** done. I feel lucky yet I dont at the same time. Have the money to do it myself just no help.

Had my 1jz for a little over a month and Just got the Single turbo and Alot of goodies for it - but no where near where I wanna be when Its time to install.Sucks.SO much needed to get things All together.
*Now my P/s has taken a **** on my SC*

Don't buy from Toronto/Total jdm - absolute Joke.No Map sensor and they said its not included,..but yet Ignitor is??Then told me to Bring my mom and sister for a blowJ for the map sensor.Very long story.
