I'm also in the process of mounting a wise lip. I bought 1/4" bolts with washers and lock washers. Haven't committed to drill the holes through it yet so if there's a better way I'd also like to know.

I recommend using epoxy if it's a permanent setup as well as adding screws.

If you want to remove it, I say double sided 3M tape and screws

I live on a mountain road and I'm scared about cracking the fiberglass lip if it hits anything. I've been thinking of filling most of the lip with kittyhair/fiberglass to reinforce it so it's not just a shell. I'd like to be able to plow snow with this thing.

i already mounted it with stainless steel bolts/nuts/washers/zip ties earlier today. it came out looking real good.

I'm still at my cousin's garage instalkling his spacers/adapters onto his 7th gen Celica. i'll will post pics of both cars later when i get home tonight...

Kitty hair is just fiberglass strands and resin essentially, so if you filled it with that it would weigh a ton.... What we do on our cars and has been done on racecars for years is filling them with foam. Like the Fast Foam you get at Home Depot. It fills the voids and strengthens the pieces without adding a ton of weight.

Just a thought, good luck man

I thought about the foam, I think I'll try that. So far I've layered strips of sheetmetal in between fiberglass mat, along the length of the lip. That expanding foam should be alot easier to work with to fill all that empty space up. Has anybody here hit something with a fiberglass lip on the car? I know the material doesn't flex much at all so I'm wondering what to expect when i can't dodge a raccoon. Maybe I'll weld up a brush guard.
