Default panel removal.. please help

i need to remove the dashboard panel above the ignition lock switch.. please help.. Do i have to remove the steering column???

Are you talking about the black piece below the cluster? If so, then pull out and up at the same time. Its in there by some metal prongs. Place a rag over the top of the plastic steering wheel plastic cover, so you wont scratch it.

If you need to remove the plastic around the steering wheel, turn the wheel 1/4 turn and you will see one phillips screw on the flat part when you turn the wheel, then two more under the plastic column, then pry up, it will be in two pieces.
