Default eBay Carpet Question ??

Wel all strive to perfect our cars and well I am no different. I wanna eventualy have an all black interior since i have the doodoo brown interior now A brand new carpet from lexus is crazy expensive and then if someone is parting out there interior they want like to 200-300 bucks depending on the condition and its still used. SO i found this carpet set on eBay that goes for about 350 but its a two peice moulded and its from like Australia or something. Anyone have any experience with this or knows about it. ???? I dont think i can post a link so to see what I am talkin about if you go to ebay and search "MOULDED PLUSH CAR CARPET SET TOYOTA SOARER" and there you will see the sale add. You can even have it in any color you want

These are from Australia. They are a two piece carpet set so there is an overlap section towards the back of the seat.

If you guys check out www.soarercentral.com you will find a few reviews. I am pretty sure that the existing underfelt and padding needs to be removed from the old carpet and reused along with the white retention strips and clips on the door edge.

Also not sure if there is any difference between a LHD and a RHD carpet set.

Matt.

Why dont you dye your carpet using rit dye, or spray it a different color to your liking. SEM is good stuff, as many of us have used and have posted nothing but good success. Just a thought. It will be alot cheaper than spending all kinds of crazy dollars on a new piece of carpet.

BTW.. the quality is apparently good, the only thing I don't really like is how it's 2 pieces.. I might dye my carpet first, and then see how it goes from there.. if the dye doesn't hold up I'll purchase this
