Default IS300 / GE block question

OK, so im in the process of swapping a IS300 (TT internals) block into my SC300 and ive noticed one difference. The SC300 oil psi sensor is smaller than the IS300 sensor(if its in the same location)

Here is the SC300 block with oil psi sensor for reference:

The IS300 block didnt have a sensor in it when I got it, BUT I need to know if infact this is where the oil psi sensor goes? If so, does anyone know of an adaptor to fit the SC300 oil psi sensor onto the lexus block? OR does anyone know the size of the hole? Im pretty sure its 14MM or bigger, but I have no idea of the pitch. Im not sure if the oil psi sensor is in the same location, being the hole is soo much bigger. Maybe its a oil temp sending unit??!!??! HELP

Here is the IS300 block, W/ empty hole for reference:

Sorry it seems a little confusing. The SC300 oil psi sensor is like a 10 or 12MM thread, but the IS300 hole looks to be 14MM or larger. I need to fit the SC300 sensor on the IS block, so I need an adaptor. Im hoping someone has ran into this problem before and can help out.

For the record, I cannot find a oil psi sensor for the IS300 block, that is the same size as the hole.

thats probably the oil temp, the is300 oil pressure sensor goes on the end of the union bolt. Iknow this since I am using the union bolt for an after market sensor.

Are you putting in an IS300 block with TT internals or are you saying an IS300 block already has TT internals?

Where is the union bolt located? Do you have a pic of what your talking about?

Tavarish, I put TT rods/pistons in the IS3 block.

the union bolt is the super huge goldish colored holow bolt that holds the oil filter assembly to the block. the is300 union bolt has a hole in the top of it for an oil sensor (not sure which one). The SC union bolt has no hole on the top cause it never had that sensor.
Its the big bolt just to the left of the oil filter on the bottom picture

Call me crazy but I think the one your calling the IS block is actually the SC block.
It looks like the union bolt has no hole on the bottom picture.

Ali, I swapped my SC stuff over to the IS block.

I see what im needing to do now. I need the IS300 union bolt, The SC300 oil psi sensor should bolt to the IS bolt. Then I will need to plug the open hole in the IS block..

I was just a little confused, but now I need to know what to do. I just need to find out what thread size the hole is in the IS block so I can find a plug for it.

Yeah, later it came to me that you probably swapped the SC union bolt/filter assembly onto the IS block already. I think you got it pretty much right. you can block off that extra hole and run all oil sensors off the union bolt. The SC ecu uses only 1 sensor but if you want to run extra sensors like temp and pressure you can run a T off of the union bolt.
I run my turbo oil line from the union bolt and my advice is to use a right angle off of the union bolt if you can cause with a line in that area it makes changing the oil filter a very tight and nerve-wrecking task.

haha, ok thanks for the info. I may end up getting an adaptor for the VVTI hole in the block, and run that for oil supply to the turbo. That way it wont be in the way when the time comes to change the oil/filter.
