Eyelines
Hey guys! Im thinking about getting some eyelines like the ones in the atached picture. Does anybody know where to get them & a ballpark price of what they'd cost?? Also,, what does everyone think of them as far as looks are corcerned? They look stylish IMO! Thanks,, and as always your input is appreciated.

I agree with Lex, it doesn't look that bad. Personally I wouldnt do it to my ride, but others got their own opinion on things. I think we should stop using this whole "ricer" phrase, and stop doggin people on their rides, or what they want to do with em. If anything use constructive criticism. I'll admit there are some people on here that have taste totally opposite on mine, and do stuff to their cars that I would never even think about doin to mine, but I dont talk bad about em. I'm gonna quit preaching here, all I'm saying is we need to hold back on those trashing replies.

What's the logic of having eyelids. It serves no purpose other than it looks totally RIDICULOUS. It's the after-life of a Honda once owned. Why do those you own a Lexus have an ACCORD/CIVIC mentality. It's another one of those fads that have come and gone, especially here in Cali. It's not a kit you can buy. They are simply painted on, or applied with a colored vinyl tape.
My suggestion, if you're SO hard press in having the eyelids, at least give it a smilie

ToeJam, not necessarily true. In Japan, eyelids are very popular and MANY, MANY manufactures make real ones out of fiberglass. The RICER eyelids are the the taped or painted head light types. Eyelids are yet ANOTHER thing that ricers took and SCREWED IT ALL UP....just like rear wings and certain wheel designs....
Personally, I like the Abflug ones on the SC but I wouldn't waste my money on them. I don't think they do enough to change the look (nor do I care to change the look of the stock SC lights)...I'd rather spend money on doing a HID upgrade (like I am) or put it towards something else...big brakes, better wheels, better tires, body kit, new paint, replace broken interior pieces, mechanical work, etc....
As for opposing opinions...nothing wrong with posting them...it we all just held back or agreed, there would be some clueless "upgrades" happening here...

I believe the original poster specifically asked for opinions and input so there should be no issue over 'doggin'. If people prefer not to hear criticism, they should state so in their thread and then the moderators will step in. I personally prefer the most brutally honest input I can get from you guys, but some might prefer the sugar-coated version.
As far as using the term "rice", it is a handy term used to simplify one's input by clearly stating his or her opinion with a single word. It is much better than having to explain "i do not like this modification because it ressembles those tasteless modifications commonly applied to cheap import cars with no performance capabilities that have huge emphasis on giving the misguided appearance of something they are not, blah, blah, blah" Saying "rice." is much shorter and sweeter
Anyway, I wouldn't consider these eyelids rice, but I don't think they compliment the car at all. Taka's picture is has a much better design than the white one.

Wow! what a response! but that's exactly what i asked for. It seems like some of you really cant stand them,, while others dont mind the looks of them but wouldn't do it to their own car. Well,, depending upon the price and availibilty, I think that I will try to get them. You could say that the only reason for getting them is for looks and it would only be an attempt to be different,, but hey! i wanna be different 
Besides, if everyone wanting their cars looking the same what fun would that be??? So thanks for all the input,, i enjoyed hearing everyone's unique perspectives.

EYELIDS ORIGINALLY WERE FOUND ON BMWS AND AUDIS...BUT THE IMPORT SCENE SOON CAUGHT ON AND MADE IT FOR EVERY CAR....AND IF YOU CHECK OUT OPTION MAGS , YOU'LL WILL SEE ALOT OF CARS USE EYE LIDS....SOME PEEPZ LIKE SOME DON'T...JUST LIKE CHROME ..SOME LIKE IT SOME DON'T..AND TINT TOO..
