Looks good so far. Ill post a review and pics after they are installed. Its been raining crazy here in cali, and my sc may be going in to the shop for auto body work next week, so it may be a while.
I also got a reply from platinum VIP earlier tonight. Their phantom cup kit works with bcr coilovers they said! As of now I decided on that set up.
These bcr coilovers, with phantom cup kit front and back. Just need to get some more funds...
no those arnt mine, i only own stance suspension products on any of my cars. backstory on the picture is that the guy hit a pothole, not a big one but it was enough to break the welds and spindle. personally if your budget allows BC, then they will be fine. they get the job done and im sure the picture above is just a one time thing, it will happen to almost any coilover regardless of the brand.
^ The guy is probably lying....No one wants to admit they hit a big *** pothole while jerkin off.
I bought an old car with EBAY coilovers and i didnt hit a pothole but a god damn sink hole with concrete around it and i thought i destroyed everything but no problems at all... I also wrecked a car and the coilovers where fine.
Unless is this is just a very rare quack, i wouldnt worry about it.
BCR's have a longstanding rep for being a great bang-for-your-buck setup without worrying about reliability issues associated with most over budget coilvoers.
If you are driving a hit a curb, serious pothole, ditch, etc. something is going to break. OEM or not.
Finally took the sc for alittle drive with the bc's on.
Took my regular route. Alot smoother than my last coilovers. Front and back was set 3 clicks from hardest. Still comfortable. Makes me kinda regret not going with a stiffer rate.
Overall Im happy so far. Im at 1 finger gap now. Cant really go low since i have my shine kit on, and it would be impossible to drive without damaging the kit.
