hey sorry if this is a repeat but i couldn't find any results in the search button so i thought i'll just ask. My car is in the shop and today i received a call from the mechanic saying that my fog lights don't fit the replacement bumper. I have a 95 sc300 and the guy who sold me the bumper said that it was from a 95 model as well but i guess he lied, turns out that its actually a 92-94 bumper.

so i was just wondering has anyone done a fog light swap to make the 95-96 fog lights fit a 92-94 front bumper?

Thanks for any response and please no bashing, i did my research but came up dry, all i can find were threads about fog light bulbs and how to make em stay on n stuff.

 

It's not physically possible...Unless of course you decide to hack up your bumper...Which I don't recommend.

P.S Get an exchange from the guy you bought it from or get your money back...I honestly don't get how anyone is unable to tell the difference between a '92-'94 bumper and a '95-'96 bumper.

 

damn i guess thats what i get for taking somebody elses word for it and not inspecting it myself. thanks for the help tho. but the thing is its already been painted so im in a tough spot here...i guess i'll try to mod it myself after it gets warmer

 

It's a sign to get a 97+ bumper

 

That, or you can buy '92-'94 cornering lights and modify them into foglights with a bit of hacking.

 

or you could trade foglights with someone
