My custom climate control
Decided to redo my climate control to my liking.
Very pleased with the turn out
(inspired by cleanSC)
3 T5 blue neo wedge led which lights up the buttons
24 white leds lighting up the lcd
(prior to doing this projects i had never soldered before)
thought might be too bright but wasn't i like it

replaced old leds with blue ones

Freaking awesome.. I took the different route and shipped mine to Lextech. Maybe I should have waited for the DIY on this... NAhhhh... I am very happy with my results.

t5 neo wedge bulbs for buttons
for the top row just standard led like so the oem ones were 3mm but all i had was 5mm so i made those work(requires soldering)

Wow!! That is a really nice looking climate control.
I really like the even lighting across the face of the LCD screen. I did not see any splotches of light concentrating in any one spot like I have seen on some other retrofits.
