Default Baselining a New SC

I looked for the term "baseline" here in this forum and didn't see it. It is a common term over in the Land Cruiser forum (IH8MUD.com).

Here is what I've done so far to baseline, or set a point in time for my maintenance, of my new SC300:
  • Replace Engine Oil
  • Drain and fill rear diff
  • Drain and fill transmission (manual or auto)
  • Drain radiator and block and refill with Toyota Red
  • Bleed clean brake fluid to each caliper.
  • Evacuate Power Steering reservoir and refill
  • Evacuate clutch resevoir and refill (if manual)

I think a tuneup is order but haven't done it yet but, here is a list:
  • New plugs
  • New OEM plug wires
  • PCV and grommet
  • Air Filter
  • Time it
  • Adjust valves?
  • Go through and squeeze and inspect every hose looking for irregularities
  • Inspect belt
  • Inspect brake pads

What else am I missing?

timing belt, water pump, cam seals, front and rear main seals, timing belt tensioner, idler. might as well get new serpentine belt, probably change out that crank pulley before it seperates and breaks.

so yeah, drain that coolant again and save it while you do your water pump.

i hate to bump this up, but is there a DIY for evacuating the clutch resevoir? I haven't been able to locate the drain plug for it, sorry for such a noob question but I searched and came up with nothing, thanks

There should be a bleed valve on the slave cylinder (just like on brake caliper) and you can open that and either pump fresh fluid through, or use a vac pump to do it easier. Note: I haven't done it on an SC, but this is the way I've done it on other cars.
