Default Steering Slightly Loose

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. The car is not being driven right now because it's stored, but I remember that there was a slight "skip"-if you wanna call it that, when turning the wheel sometimes. It's almost like the rack is loose or something is loose ONLY at a certain spot sometimes. Anyone have any ideas? Tie rod ends? Something else?

It could be a couple things. Steering rack bushings, inner tie rod ends, outer tie rod ends, play in the input steering shaft going into the steering rack, wheel bearing. If you can get your car on a lift shake the wheel side to side and up and down to see if there is a tie rod issue or a wheel bearing issue.
