Default Airbag and Steering Wheel Question

Hey guys just need to know whether a RX300 airbag will fit into an IS300 Outer steering wheel. I got a IS300 airbag on its way to Australia however im thinking of changing it to a RX300 airbag. Only problem is i want e-shift so i have to have an IS300 outer steering wheel and needed to know if the RX300 airbag will fit properly.

The RX300 cover will not fit the IS300 steering wheel. Do you just prefer the look of the RX cover over the IS?

Ive bought the IS300 airbag and outer steering wheel (on its way to Australia) but wanted to know if i could ditch the IS300 airbag and stick a GS300 airbag in the centre of the IS300 wheel. Nah i dont mind the IS300 airbag but i prefer the GS300 airbag. The Outer wheel has to be off an IS300 as i want up and down shift to link up a supra stick and gated shifter.

Yea sorry it won't fit in there. The 2nd gen 3 spoke might fit, but not perfectly.

Anyone know the username of the owners car that is in the pic, i know his on here so i might ask him as i dont think its a 2nd gen gs steering wheel. Looks a fair bit different to the pics i could find of a factory 2nd gen gs steering wheel especially the bottom.

TheMole knows his stuff... that is certainly a 2GS Sport Design steering wheel. See wikipedia:

But in any case, I'm pretty sure the picture you posted is ACleanSC4's car.

No.

You need Celica/ Rav4 airbag.
