mines the same way. I found out the hard way

was bout to leave ECSC I opened my trunk put all my free stuff in and locked my keys in ugh right. Wait! it was really hot that day I cracked my window I got these really long pliers from the parking lot stand guy and manage to stick them through the crack and flip open the lock.

At this time my alarm going crazy and people are watching me break into this car ahhaah awkward. I was so excited woot! I pulled the latch and nothing .... Had to get mom to bring me my spare key.

So would really like to know how to fix this problem also

Left side of your kick-panel. In between ur trunk and gas cap buttons, there a key hole. You can lock you trunk this way from the inside, which only allows the key to enter into the trunk.
Its supposed to be a security feature, but I almost replaced my whole trunk regulator before I realized this all it was was this.. haha

ok we all know about the valet lock but if your alarm is tripped that trunk will not open with the trunk release in the inside. any way around this?

In order to Fix the Alarm - Put key in door handle - lock door manually (not by remote) let sit for a moment and unlock 2 times w/ key manually - normall gets it all back to normal.

But,...please tell me you checked the Valet
