Looks clean!

Only thing I would do is upgrade the headlights to the newer projector style, and the tails.

Definitely is, that's why I'm having such a hard time finding one The other color that's next to impossible to find (in good shape) is the dark metallic blue that was only offered for a couple months on the '00 M5. Silver is a color that you just can't go wrong with though, man. I think the only other color I'd go with is the charcoal on saddle orange interior... drool....

Here's the exhaust I'm gonna pick up for mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VinS5Yo3SHA

And another that crossed my mind, but I think the Einsmann is better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmdoiKO0_8M&feature=fvw

I get all warm and fuzzy inside when it comes to E39 M5's

I like the M5 and the M3's alot. I would do the same thing as you if something ever happened to my SC. That interior and wheels look great, IMO. Keep us posted on the upgrades. They have also been alot of people pull that motor out and do a supra swap. I cant understand why? Thats plenty of power for me.

I envy your E39 M5. I got the E39 528i and it never really cut it for me. I should have spent a little more and at least got the 540i 6speed at least. The E39 and the E46 are the only body styles I would sport from BMW. I believe they also make some FI parts for your new car. Go over to bimmerfest if you haven't already they have some good advise for the most part.

yea the e34's have some strong motors in them, but i do have to agree the e39 an e46 are the best bmw's made.... I hate the new ones they dont even look like bmw's anymore, they got all this plastic BS inside of the car an too many bodylines....but the motors are good though. Lol kinda funny, the new e90 m3 is just now catching up the the e39 m5 in power.
