Default 5 speed conversion on SC300

I just wanna know what parts do I need to do a 5 speed conversion on my SC300. And what kinda tranny is better between r58 or r154

i hate it when ppl spend the time to respond to your original post, with stuff like o use the search or ur gonna get roasted just for there post count. instead of using that same exact amount of time to not write back or post a link or just explain it. ppl should just not even waste the time....


I dont know a link exactly off the top of my head to point u but here u go...

your gonna need parts here and there, but for the most part...

5 Spd tranny...if your going to push some HP, then go with an r154. otherwise a w58 is fine

matching 5spd bellhousing to put tranny to motor

clutch/flywheel/stuff like that

clutch pedal assembly, master/slave cylinder, stuff like that

custom driveshaft or i think u can use half of an mk3 driveshaft or sumthing

maybe get a different diffferential for the 5spd not sure

modify tranny tunnel to fit tranny, and then all shifter pieces and interior pieces to fit the shifter etc. (ex. plastic trim piece that goes around the shift boot/****)
