^^ All I know is the tank capacity should be 20.6 ( I think?) and if the light ever comes on, I tend to fill up around 18-18.5 gallons. So you have roughly 2 gallons left when the light comes on. (From my experience!!)

Yeah, the SC' gas light comes on once you're almost empty. On the GS it comes on with 1/8 tank left and you can drive between 25/50 miles past the "E" mark. I can be on E and not worry on my GS. On the other hand with my SC', I just don't know.

It goes on and off because the fuel sender is too low, if you park on a incline or decline that will change the height of the fuel sender/fuel sending unit and it'll cause that fluctuation.

Keep driving on it and eventually the light will stay on. I filled up after i drove about 40 miles on the light and i still had a gallon and a half left.

Y'all r lucky, I think my fuel pump, float or gauge is whack. My gauge is soooooo innacurate, I use the trip odo, I fill it up and know I have roughly 400-440 miles till the car shuts off on me! I at 300 miles I fill up. Except once I had a blow out (rear camber) and as I was pulling over I ran out of gas and had to push her fat *** off the shoulder of I-5. Hahaha...that day sucked.
