I'm pretty new to Club Lexus and wanted to introduce myself a bit. I'm a College student and I'm currently working as an IT Administrator for an Ethanol Plant. I'm 1 of a team of 3.
I'm located in Northern, IL about 100 miles due west of Chicago.
My car Modding Adventure started with my Ford Escort ZX2. Before that, I never knew too much about cars. I could change my own oil and rotate my tires. It wasn't until one day I decided to turbo charge my escort. It was quite an experience. I had a great time and it felt nice to have a "fast" car. I was pretty happy with it and had plans to build up an engine for that car and run more boost, but I've since realized it's limited potential. I wanted a car with a lot more possibilities. My friend (I will refer to him as "Korndog" when I mention him) one day came across the Toyota Cressida that one of his classmates was working on as a class project. As he told me about how the kid wanted to put a built 1jz into it and turbo the car, I began to research into the Cressida. While researching it, I stumbled across the SC300 and fell in love with it. I soon found this site and Started posting around to see if I could find one. I put up a thread in the Classified not even a hour later, UZZ-TT contacted me and I had found my new love..... His Car not UZZ...

Nice car, just make sure you do it right the 1st time that what i was told by one of th local guy i will never forget that.
Don't buy cheap stuff and don't half a$% the work and you should be fine.

That's my plan. It wasn't an option on my Escort since That was my only car, but With the Lexus, I have the escort for a DD.Originally Posted by quickGS300
