I just bought my first SC last night for a project. The previous owner has had it about 6 months and all that time he went with no radio due to this issue so he was no help. I've done some reading around and it appears that there's a cellphone mute on these? I think that might be the problem here but not sure. You can crank the volume all the way up and you can just barely hear the sound. Any suggestions on how to reset or disable that? Or could it be something else?

 

Weird, I have an opposite problem, I crank the volume all the way down but can still hear the radio.

 

Hey at least you have something to listen to I didn't think it had any sound at all until I called him today and he said you can barely hear it when you turn it all the way up. I went out with the car turned off and cranked it up and sure enough you can. But it's so low if the motor is running nada. I had already planned on putting something else in on the ride home last night but would prefer to put the funds in other areas for the time being if I can find the problem here.
