damn nice... those evos can really fly around the track crazy quick.

i think a good part to my time is also because of the auto tranny, pretty hard to power out of a turn. if you stomp on it 100% throttle, the engine will just rev before actually downshifting, giving too much of an abrupt kick. then when you try to modulate it to not be so much, it won't even downshift and won't be in a decent powerband to move out. manual tranny or sequential is what i'm looking at once i get the turns down.

weight sucks big time too... even with all i took out, car is still 3600lbs.

NICE. One of these days this will definitely be a Featured car.
Good job tackling the suspension FIRST. That is usually the most neglected aspect.

I'm imagining a cleanly installed LS-1 (Or LS-6) V8 w/T-56 6-Speed swap, along w/ a color change to something darker for 2010. How far off am I?!

haha ur not that far off. right now it just seems a real pain to get any real power of the 1uzfe short of FI. I have tossed around the idea of a LS7 swap with T56 tranny; still smog legal and all too.... so who knows
