how to remove? outter b pillars

Default how to remove? outter b pillars

outter b pillars? just got some paint to touch them up but couldent find anywhere on the forum that would help me remove them. Anyone? Thanks

Super de duper easy. They are held on by double sided tape. Use a large scraper and SLOWLY and CAREFULLY pry them off. If you go too fast or pry too hard, you'll bend them and they look a little funky after you paint and replace them.

Use a chemical paint stripper, then shoot 'em. Makes a big difference. They are shiny chrome underneath, but please don't leave them that way...

ok so just to make it perfectly clear,... just remove the 2 bolts behind them covered with the rubber pieces and then pry away? does the window border chrome come with it or is it just the b-pilar i feel like I am doing something wrong as they dont want to come off

No bolts to remove at all. You just pry them off. Use a putty knife to kind of slice through the OEM double sided tape.
