Default opinions on changing color

I have a 95 5speed Renaissance red sc300. I have to get it repainted due to some bodywork that has to be done to the car. At first I hated red cars but I kinda liked the Garnet pearl color though. However, the reny red on my SC has kinda grown on me. What do you guys suggest should i get it repainted to Garnet pearl or repaint it Reny Red again? Also, does anyone know how many Garnet pearls and how many Reny reds were produced this year? thanks in advance

Go reny, that thing just pops. Did you end up getting a 97+ kit?

thanks for your input, I havent got the 97+ body, still trying to get rid of those vertex replica sides and rear bumper. Are you still trying to sell your whole 97+ kit if so i might be interested, or are you just trying to sell your sides and rear bumper?, still might be interested for those too. But yeah that Reny red has grown on me

stick with renaissance red, I think that's the best color on SC's.

Remember that color changes involve painting underneath the hood, fenders, trunk, sun roof, doors and door jambs.

It adds a pretty penny to the total bill.

A real and actual color change done properly take so much time and money you'd never attempt it on an SC unless you did it yourself. Shops will have to remove the under the hood components and everything and they'll ask more than the car is worth to do it. If you are asking about a respray on the outside of your ar to another color, I'm not answering that.

wait.. really? under the hood? my under the hood was all flat black. it wasn't painted to the car color? from factory.

Even the under side of the hood is flat black. The fenders, right where they bolt to the car were the Green pearl...

I dunno.. was the green sc's flat black engine bayed?

Green cars cut-in areas aren't really black.

It's dark green basecoat without clear or pearl coats. I just looks black and has no shine to it.

If you want to do a color change why chose a lexus color?

Red Candy over a brilliant silver base coat sounds like a winner to me.
