Are These Real TRD Seats OR Bootleg ???
So in my effort to find a great oem type upgrade I was browsing craigslist when I cam accross this celica thats had "TRD bucket seats". Now the only TRD type seat I have seen are these kinda fugly ones from Japan and I know they are real TRD seats....
Not to fond of them but these are pretty nice but I have never seen them before anyone seen these and can verify if they are REAL TRD seats???

thats all i used it for. i didnt keep it long enough to drift with it. i ended up trading it only because the dwal offered i couldnt pass up.
the seat has great lower body and leg support. torso support is something more to be desired though. my sparco torino had almost no leg bolsters and held you in a lot better due to awesome torso and shoulder bolsters.
i paid 75 bucks for my JIC so for the price i couldnt complain. i ended up trading my JIC for 2 NRG seats and 100 bucks. i ended up selling the NRG setas for 150 for the pair. i also go to keep the slider mount from the JIC. i came out on top i think

Japanese TRD parts are easy to distinguish from American TRD parts because, Japanese TRD parts usually like to display that red and white stripe (As shown in the 2nd and 3rd pics) next to or right by the TRD lettering, Meanwhile TRD parts originating here in the U.S will usually just have the generic "TRD" letters or have something like the word "Motor sports" or "Sports parts" right next to 'em.
