OK, I want to drop my '97 SC400 1 to 1.5 inches. I WANT: better look, some improvement of handling, but preservation of smooth ride - don't mind "firm" but want to avoid "choppy." Don't want to screw up camber beyond adjustability, and definitely don't want to induce fwy "wander" or "drift." Was leaning toward Eibach Prokit (for the SC not Supra), and the only shocks I find available are KYB GR2 or maybe Tokico Blues. And the more I search, the more "too much info" or "too much opinion" I seem to find. Some find Eibach/KYB ideal, some say it's choppy, some say go Espilier for smooth ride, better drop, then some say Espilier too much drop, screw up camber. etc., etc.
Would welcome recent advice from someone who has the specific setup they are commenting on. I have a hard time believing that a 1 inch drop with proper alignment is going to "drift" or "wander." BTW, I'm on stock size 16" wheel/tire combo now, and don't intend to ever go beyond 17 inch. Thanks for any advice.

I had the Eibach/Tokicos on my car for a while on stock 16s. The ride was close to stock, though the drop isn't as noticeable, especially if your old suspension is already sagging. This is how low it went on my car with a bodykit.

 

Nope, my '97 has about 66K mi., and no sag that I can detect . . . your car looks lower, and from what I can see from a photo, about the drop I'd expect.
