you've got the same block as the 1993.5-1998 toyota supra... 2JZ-GE.
I think the removal procedure is the same for the supra turbo... 2JZ-GTE.
you could try looking through past posts. And because the block is a 6 in line, I think all you need to do is remove the top cover, and the plugs are right there. I can't say this with any authority, I don't own a car w/ the 2JZ-GE engine.
The procedure is different. The TT doesn't have the throttlebody in the way. The TT has the throttle body on the drivers side of the engine.
You must remove the throttle body and hose that is in front of it. There are many vacuum and coolant hoses connected to the throttle body. Plugs aren't exactly a fun job, around 1.5-2 hours the first time you do it.
You'll want some long nose pliers to get the coolant hoses off. (they're under the throttle body--two main hoses)
Other than that, you need allen wrench sockets for the plug wire covers, and some various 12 and 10mm sockets and extensions, (deep well, too). You also may need a torx socket for the studs that hold the throttle body on. Make note of the vacuum line locations.
Guys, will Denso Platniums work? The closest Lexus dealership is in Tulsa (hour and 45 mins away) and my Autozone carries them. I want the Iridiums, but I just need to go ahead and change them. Also, surely some aftermarket wires will work, or are they all too thick? I found out that a distributer cap and rotor (Bosch) at Nopi for something around $15 total. Is Denso really that different?
Lots of guys praise the iridiums (even some running boost). I think Jeff (SC300turbo) is running iridiums.
I've not tried them, but for a boosted engine, the copper is still (unfortunately) the best thing going, even though they (NKG 3330s) wear out in 5-10k miles.
The stock plug wires are used on 700rwhp cars, and most don't change them. The stock wires are really good and last a long time.
