alright.....new project car....need help
hey guys......i'm selling my car right now for either a vette, supra, or a sc300. Now first off.......what is the best 1/4 time you think I could get with a N/A sc300 with maximum performance parts........just no forced induction.......also......lets say I have 8k to spend on modifications and that means I need wider wheels, performance tires, and a 1/4 time of at least 13.5 with an auto sc3..........is it possible? Any suggestions?.....thanks.....Adam

Are you just looking for pure speed? Why not just get a beaten Civic CRX and dump a B16A or a H22A (Prelude) or a B18C1 (GSR) or a B18C5 (Integra Type-R)...with that kind of power to weight ratio, you'll have a fast car...dump it on stiff Tein's with 16" wheels and you'll have a fast car that drives on rails...this is a LOT less expensive than doing up any of those other cars...
...do that and just keep the SC4 for cruisin'....

Adam, if you say you have $8k to spend on mods why not go with the Stage I or even stage II Toyomoto setup. With the stage I you will be under 13.5 (E.T. 1/4 mile) for sure(low 13's at least) and with the stage II you will be well into the 12's. The stage I (340 RWHP) will give you approximately 400hp at the flywheel. The stage one is $5500 (uninstalled) (340 RWHP) and the stage II is $7500 (uninstalled) and will give you 400RWHP. Apparently you can't go wrong with any of thier setups and so far the few members who have used them seem to have not had any problems with them.

yeah.....i'm thinking about the toyomoto setup. But the only thing holding me back from all this is when I explain to my dad what I'm spending $5k on. I usually make up bs about reasons why I get performance parts like "I like how the wheels look" "I just got the exhaust for the sound, not to make the car faster" but I can't think of an excuse for an $5k turbo kit. It just makes the car faster. Hmmmmmmmm.......what to do!!!!!!!
Hey Adam, how about an eighties Vette with a twin turbo smallblock?
Or maybe an SC with the same motor?
A friend and I are putting together a Lancia Scorpion with a Turbo eclpipse motor in the back, should be good for 280hp with the stock turbo.
