Default Pads??

How often do are u suppose to change your brake pads? normally i would change them when they start squealing but they've done that right after i replaced them before I guess that's what happens when u dont buy the right pads. anyhow one more question. I was gonna go w/ the ECB green for my front pad but they dont sell rear pads at tirerack so i was curious what kind of pads should i get for my rears and where can i find them?

Default squeal

any pad might squeal. new or old. Chamfer the leading and trailing edges at about 30 to 45 degrees to eliminate squeal. Always works on my 78 911.

I personally think about using the stock pads for rear.

If you are using the stock rotors then I highly suggest that you stick with the OEM pads. I don't know why but brakes tend to make noise when you use aftermarket pads.

When I first bought my car i had aftermarket pads on the rear (plenty of life still left) and they squealed. I had the rear pads switched with the OEM and they quit sqealing. Even the Lexus place I took it to said they have noticed that brakes on the SC tend to squeal if aftermarket pads are used with the stock rotors.
