Default Im having twins

I got bored of the NA6.

I test drove an s15 but couldn't afford it. I wanted a chaser but they were too rare

I hope 5sp + 1JZ + LSD makes things more fun.

Soon I shall have 2 black/black 1994 soarers.

you will get bored of it pretty quickly, at least I did.
The twins spool too quickly and falls flat on its face past 5k.
Piecing together a single setup over the winter.

So I had been living with my black NA 2JZGE automatic whale for a while now. Great car with immaculate interior. However, the turbo bug had hit me. Here she is, in all her glory (the old whale).

1JIZZLE!

And so we continued, until I spotted a black manual TT soarer. Granted it wasnt in as good condition as my NA, but that is expected from a 'turbo' boyracer etc etc car. I do miss the sunroof alot though.

So we begin. (I make good use of study time during stuvac)

18/10: Went to Adam to get the guards rolled.

8.30AM my mechanic arrived and we got to our things. Mums car needed her brake pads changed and discs machined too.

The day before I noted a sizzling sound coming from the rear end of the engine. This turned out to be a cracked heater hose. Off I went to get that replaced, and coilover installation started. Lots of swearing ensued, after we could not remove the lower bracket bolts. They were literally welded on.

We then went about removing the stock seats, and installing some supra seats as I need the headroom. Swapped them over from the old car! The late 90s complaince didnt have the original seatbelts and buckles, we we had to modify them to fit.

Here they are back in the old car

In the new!

I also removed the rims and swapped my BBS over.

I have some Supra TT rims on the way. I didnt realise that these were Rays rims!

R: 18x9.5+38
F: 18x8.5+33

Fail offset for the big boat!

Heres my brother with them on the car

While pondering, I decided that the 100K major service should be done also. Cant trust what old sellers say!
Then this arrived

I had meant to do an oil and filter change today too, but it is much wiser to do it with the major service. The 100K service is scheduled for Tuesday. Leaking oil a bit, rocker cover gaskets are still on order

As we were putting the rear coilovers in, we noticed 2 things. The diff was leaking oil, and the rear upper control arm bushings were shot.

I phoned my friend's brother, who I knew was wrecking a soarer, and scored a 1JZ wreck for $400. (I have yet to pick it up). I wanted an excuse for an LSD, but I cant afford that yet.

The twins:

Rear needs a 5-10mm spacer. Perhaps 15 to sit flush.

I now have a few things left to do:
- Install clear headlights and HIDs
- 1994/ 1997 tail lights
- hook up rear brake light
- 100K major service
- Reroute wires so this doesnt happen
- IS200 steering wheel (let me know if you have one for sale!)

- any more things we find that are wrong.
O well, at least I shall have a spare 1JZ with rebuilt turbos.

My Autocouture kit is on order, late model fogs and grilles I have

I love the interior. Is your wood trim wrapped in vinyl?
