I keep spinning out
I keep spinning out in any amount of rain. I don't think this is a speed related issue as I was barely above 25 in second gear on a pretty basic curve in the road. I'm wondering if this is typical of rear wheel drive cars as this is the first RWD car I've owned, or if maybe it's a problem with my tires, they looks pretty good to me but they're also pretty old and were barely used for 2 years.
easuring Tire Tread Depth with a Coin

U.S. coins can be substituted for a tire tread depth gauge as tires wear to the critical final few 32nds of an inch of their remaining tread depth.
Place a penny into several tread grooves across the tire. If part of Lincoln's head is always covered by the tread, you have more than 2/32" of tread depth remaining.
2/32" remaining tread depth
Place a quarter into several tread grooves across the tire. If part of Washington's head is always covered by the tread, you have more than 4/32" of tread depth remaining.
4/32" remaining tread depth
Place a penny into several tread grooves across the tire. If the top of the Lincoln Memorial is always covered by the tread, you have more than 6/32" of tread depth remaining.
6/32" remaining tread depth

I have a 5 speed with 20s and can't get the car to lose traction in the rain no matter what I do almost. Id have to launch at 4k in 1st, this car has no power stock you should be careful with your tires they are shot

Can be these answers for you :
A.tires
B. alignment
C. driver
D. 2 of the above
E. all the above
It all depends first check the tires and the tread make sure they are decent and wearing evenly that will take care of answers A and B. Also make sure you have all weather or wet and dry pavement tires. Also keep your foot out of accelerating more than 65% throttle in turns or abrupt shifting movements braking etc and that would help take care of C... if that doesn't help get a front wheel drive car to drive in the rain or other adverse conditions

Problem with Alignment or tires i have the same problem. I just mounted a set of new rear tires a little over a month ago and now my tires are almost bald now. I do have an alignment just recently done after i mounted the rear tires but i found out that an esentric(i think thats what its called) bolt monting bracket or something is messed up so no matter how good of an alignemtn i have my rear is always gonna be out of wack. SO if you have good tires and good alignment u might want to check the areas where the alignment bolts are you might have a problem there
