Default New from AZ, DRIFTING pics updated!!!

Well im from arizona (west phoenix are to be exact)

had an s14 with an rb25det and sold it and i ended up getting an sc cus i thought it was time to step it up a bit more

so i found this beauty and picked her up

its a 95 with STOCK 5 speed

93k original miles and been driven like a baby, it has definitely been in good hands
the paint is IMMACULATE except for one ding on driver side fender and a bit of fading on the front bumper
inside is soooo nice except that the leather is starting to harden a bit but i already conditioned it

came with the UGLY fitting wheels but im planning on buying something really nice...im looking at these https://www.clublexus.com/forums/whe...350-socal.html
im pretty sure ill need to run some spacers to make it as flush as i want it to be but they will look good non the less, what do you guys think?

currently the only mod on the car are megan coilovers and i have already dropped it (not shown in pics, ill post later) and also a welded diff

i plan on using this as a daily but also a once in a while drift car, ill be drifting it for the first time this saturday at firebird

plans for it will be the wheels of course and also later down the road like around february i plan on doing the 1jz swap and ill be happy with around 300hp, after all it doesnt take a lot of power to get sideways

hopefully ill be heading out to some meets and meeting some of you guys...

here are the pics of the car

and here are some pics of the 240 i had

Congrats and welcome! Check in to the southwest subforums and introduce yourself and keep an eye out for meets.

The Iforged wheels would look good, though there are also many other good options out there too. Either way, as long as your stance is correct, you can't go wrong. Good luck and let us know if you need any help. We have some very knowledgeable guys out here in AZ that are always willing to help.

Lol this car is super heavy for sure!!! i guess that's the sacrifice we make for luxury.

and since there isnt much power that just means full throttle drifting

with the 240 i would have to play alot with the gas and clutch to be able to control it.

we'll see how the sc does

and im down for tandem haha (after maybe a year or two of experience )

Just one question, What was it that made you choose this car over a FWD Honda or even sticking with that of your previous car?

okay the honda question is just plain stupid!!!!!! lol

i used to own a rsx and then drove a 240 and never again and i mean NEVER AGAIN will i own a FWD haha

secondly i've had 2 240sx and one tt 300zx i love those to death and wouldnt mind owning another one

reason i went with an sc is more of a daily driver. something i can be comfortable in since im comuting over 75 miles everyday

AC!!!!!!!!
super easy to swap a 1jz compared to the pain in the *** doing the rb swap in a 4cylinder engine bay

in the end it takes less money to have a better car then my 240 and you have sooooo much more than that (luxury, comfort, stereo, looks, etc...)

not only that but 1jz and 2jz's are freaking bulletproof, im pretty sure i dont need to go into detail for that one as most of you already know...

one more thing is that not a lot of people own them and i almost dont have to worry about them gettnig a bad rep for being ricers and such...before i didnt have to worry about that with the 240 but things have changed as honda guys are going torwards nissans, but i dont think lexus having to worry about it being the new nissan...

question answered?

and dont worry im not a ricer if that's what you were reffering too...
